At UNTHINKIT.COM, we provide industrial design solutions for some of the most respected corporations in the world.  Ingersoll-Rand Corporation, for example, employs approximately 40,000 people with 19,000 in the United States, and the balance in other countries.  With over 9 Billion Dollars in annual revenues over all divisions, Ingersoll-Rand maintains offices, warehouses, and repair centers throughout the world.  They provide products and services in over 200 countries.  In June 2006, Ingersoll-Rand chose the design talents of UNTHINKIT.COM to launch their newest Nirvana 20-40hp Air Compressor Series.  VIEW THE CASE STUDY

The pre-launch designs directly above were rendered from wire models we developed. To accomplish this, we used a combination of visual resources.  CAD files, schematics, photographs, and artwork were all used as artistic references to build this scaled model of an air compressor that is truly innovative.  The peek-through effect was added later to show detail and to allow a potential end-user to become more familiar with the physical orientation of the machine components.
